Therefore, keeping track of things as they happen may prove helpful to you for those assignments. You will also need to join Edmodo for this literary journey. Go to Edmodo.com and put in the following code:

Thank you to everyone for getting us your IWA rough drafts. Although we cannot comment on them directly, many of these papers need a lot of work. Some general observations we have made are:
Incomplete or missing works cited page.
Lack of relevant and credible evidence in the body paragraphs. (this is more than half the class)
Not making use of at least one stimulus source in your contextualization paragraph (second intro) or in a body paragraph.
Grammatical, spelling, and citation errors.
Failure to present multiple perspectives. (you should have a minimum of two to three sources in each body paragraph that should interact with one another)
Going forward, we have revised our schedule and updated the next two weeks below. You will receive a completion grade for all of these assignments. Please feel free to reach out to us should you have any questions.
Friday, March 20th: Peer edit sheets must be emailed to Mr. China. (please do so separately)
Monday, March 23rd: Rough draft of your slides must be emailed to both Mr. China and Mrs. Caputo.
Tuesday, March 24th: Revised rough draft must be sent to Mr. China and Mrs. Caputo. (we are going to look to see that you've made significant changes from your original)
Friday, March 27th: We will have mock presentations in small groups via Webex.
Monday, March 30th: Final IWA papers due.
Wednesday, April 1st: Another round of mock presentations in small groups via Webex.
Please also know that we will be giving you articles to read and other small assignments to complete during this time. It is important to us that you continue to work diligently to complete the work we would have completed in class during this time. Should any of you have any extenuating circumstances that might prohibit you from completing some of your work, we encourage you to email us privately so that we can assist you. Most importantly, we hope that you stay active and stay safe. We miss you and hope to see you all soon.
